Jesus shows incredible compassion to those who humble themselves before him. To those who repent and ask for forgiveness, to them he will give it. Yet, even as Jesus Christ says, “I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
When Jesus performed this sign, the world was never the same nor the people who followed after him. We are the formless blocks of limestone, dead and with out purpose. But in Christ we are formed in his likeness when we allow Christ to make that first cut into our heart, we too will never be the same.
Simon’s character is very important to the gospels and the church. He was one of the first disciples who Jesus called to follow him when his public ministry began. Jesus renamed Simon to Cephas, which in Aramaic means rock. He was also called Peter in the gospels which in Greek also means rock. Simon Peter was the one who Jesus would entrust to be the father of the early church.
Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.

Culture tells us that there is nothing wrong with looking at someone with lust as long as we don’t touch. Most people would say that it is wrong to commit adultery. But regarding looking with lust they would say that simply looking isn’t adultery. In the Old Testament the Bible
These scriptures demonstrate that Christ’s coming was not an imagination of Christ’s followers. These were established scriptures read for hundreds and even over a thousand years prior to their fulfillment. This redemptive plan was established from the beginning (in Genesis 3:15)
